Welcome to the Oostburg School District's Long Range Library Plan. It has been many years since a formal library plan has been written for the school district. The Oostburg School District's Long Range Library Plan is required by the state of Wisconsin under the Wisconsin Administrative Code PI801(2)(h). The mission of the Oostburg School District is to ensure all students learn at high levels so they can become productive and positive contributors to society and the world. Taking into account the Future Ready Librarian Framework, we at Oostburg are building a foundation that will align with our district's mission through the framework.

The mission of our library program is to foster a love for reading and learning from kindergarten through high school, cultivating lifelong readers who are critical thinkers and engaged community members. We provide diverse resources, inspire curiosity, and promote creativity, ensuring that every student develops the skills and passion needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
