Our aim is to provide all Key Stage 3 pupils with high-quality careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) that helps them to:
Explore a wide range of careers and pathways so they can start to understand the opportunities available to them in the future.
Develop self-awareness of their skills, strengths, and interests, and consider how these link to possible career choices.
Understand the world of work by learning about different industries, routes into employment, and the skills employers value.
Prepare for the options process by making informed decisions about their GCSE subjects. Pupils will be supported through assemblies, tutor sessions, careers activities, and one-to-one guidance to ensure they choose options that match their strengths, interests, and future goals.
Through CEIAG in KS3, we aim to build pupils’ confidence, raise aspirations, and equip them with the knowledge and guidance needed to make positive, informed choices for the next stage of their education and beyond
