Looking back, MAPEH has always been my lowest grade compared to other subjects. I do not excel that much in atheletics, which results to me getting a pretty low grade. For this school year, I aim to improve in all components in MAPEH especially physical education. In this portfolio, you will be witnessing my journey whether will I reach my goal or not.

FIRST QUARTER
12 Tone Scales ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
Due to the SIP Colloquium, I wasn’t able to attend the first day of discussion regarding the musical scales, that is why I was super puzzled on how it worked. I feel so bad towards my seatmate, Justin, for asking so many questions again and again. After lending some time to study and practice, I finally got the hold of it. Learning about the 12-tone scales has expanded my knowledge about the structure and beauty of music. This also further helped me to appreciate its significance when it comes to compositions and exploring new musical concepts.
Pop Art Shirt ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
As someone who is interested in arts, painting our own pop art shirt is one of my favorite activities this quarter. Designing a pop art shirt inspired me to express my creativity and encouraged me to think outside the box by ulitizing a variety of styles and techniques. I really wanted to do something personalized with a touch of BINI, a Filipino girl group whose style I find appealing. Overall, I had a really great time participiating in this activity and is looking forward for more in the near future.
SECOND QUARTER
Maracatu Performance ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
Creating a video performance from scratch, including composing our own music and choreographing a dance, was a complicated task, especially since it involved a performance from another country with a whole different culture from our own as Filipinos. Thankfully, this was a group project, which made the process much more manageable. As the leader of the group, and being somewhat tone-deaf, I am incredibly grateful to Zabrena for her helping out a lot in creating our song. Despite the complexity, I thoroughly enjoyed filming with my groupmates and editing our video. The experience was enriched by the collaborative effort and the shared determination to succeed. We faced numerous challenges, but through coordination and perseverance, we managed to accomplish our task effectively.

I vividly remember the intense cramming we experienced for this reporting due to the suspension of classes. As the leader of our group, I am incredibly proud of my groupmates for diligently completing their assigned tasks on time, which made it much easier for us to finalize our presentation. One major challenge we faced was figuring out how to present creatively through online classes. Zabrena and I brainstormed various ideas and eventually decided to offer GCash money as prizes, which turned out to be an excellent incentive. This approach significantly increased our classmates' motivation to listen and participate actively in our presentation.
In addition to overcoming these obstacles, I gained valuable insights into yoga and other healthy habits that can enhance overall well-being. Through this experience, I learned that yoga offers numerous benefits, including improved flexibility, reduced stress, and enhanced mental clarity.

Among all the activities that took place during the third quarter, the intramurals stood out as an unforgettable highlight for me. It's an experience I will cherish even as I grow older. Ever since I was younger, modeling has been my passion. Although I took a break to focus more on my studies, the spark never truly faded. Fortunately, I was elected as the muse of my section, which rekindled my love for modeling.
For the Ms. Sports Fest, I dedicated myself to thorough preparation with the aim of securing the champion title. I practiced daily to perfect my walk and meticulously planned my attire. All of my efforts were rewarded when I heard the cheers from my section, AOM, and the applause from everyone. This memorable experience will forever hold a special place in my heart.

As someone who enjoys taking pictures and posting them online, this activity made me discover the transformative power of color and composition in bringing my images to life. Adjusting the brightness, contrast, and saturation makes each one truly stand out. This creative process has pushed me to think outside the box, as every photograph presents a unique challenge to convey a story or evoke an emotion. I've come to realize that photography is a continuous journey of learning and self-expression. With every click of the shutter, there's always something new to discover and master. Ultimately, photography has become a medium for me to connect with others, sharing my perspective and experiences through the art of visual storytelling.
FOURTH QUARTER
Hiphop Competition ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
As someone deeply passionate about dancing, this hip-hop competition was an unforgettable experience that I truly enjoyed. While we fell short of achieving our ultimate goal of securing the champion title, I feel incredibly grateful and proud of placing as second runner-up. This journey was about so much more than performing a hip-hop routine—it became a celebration of teamwork, creativity, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship.
Through the intense pressures and occasional misunderstandings, we learned to trust and support one another. Those moments of collaboration and growth not only strengthened our performance but also forged a connection that will always be cherished. The memories we've created—both on and off the stage—are a reminder that success isn’t solely defined by ranking first, but by the passion, unity, and spirit we pour into every move we make.

As I stepped into Grade 10, one of the experiences I had eagerly anticipated was the intersection cheerdance competition. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the competition was canceled for this school year. Despite this setback, our section managed to organize a mini cheerdance competition of our own.
As the choreographer of our group, I’m proud of how my teammates and I brought our performance to life. Their cooperation and commitment to executing each move with precision and energy truly made the difference. Seeing my vision materialize on the stage was deeply fulfilling. To top it all off, we placed first among the four groups, earning an impressive score of 95. It was a wonderful way to showcase teamwork and end the school year on a high note. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone's hard work and dedication.

Acting - El Fili ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by musical plays and theater. They have a unique way of providing captivating entertainment while thoughtfully addressing current trends and societal issues. For me, they’re more than just performances—they’re windows into different worlds that inspire and provoke reflection.
For our project, I had the incredible opportunity to portray Simoun. Knowing it was our final project for the school year, I gave it my all, pouring my heart and soul into the role. To bring Simoun to life, I sought out the perfect ensemble. Sir Jhay, my brother’s manager and an exceptional fashion designer, lent me a suit that perfectly mirrored Simoun’s look. We added round glasses, a toy gun, and, of course, the iconic beard to complete the transformation. I truly hope I was able to do justice to this powerful character.
This project deepened my appreciation for musical plays and theater even more. The themes we explored captured my curiosity and encouraged me to engage with the art form on a much deeper level. As I watch musicals and plays in the future, I know I will do so with a greater understanding and respect—not just for the performers but also for the creative teams working tirelessly behind the scenes. Their dedication and artistry are the driving forces that make these productions unforgettable.
