Credits to our group for finishing this bridge: Group #6! I am very proud of our group for surpassing the earthquake test, despite only fitting a cellphone inside. The bridge is not only very colorful and pleasing to the eye, but is also sturdy.
I wasn't expecting to get a perfect score in this quiz because I wasn't confident, but apparently I did! When I first saw "25/25" on my paper, I felt relieved and proud of myself. I believe that I got this score because I efforted in studying the lessons.
I got 45/50 in this exam, and I would say it is a fair score for me because I was hesitant in some of the items and I was unsure of my answer. I will try harder in the QE so that I can save my grades!
I used a simple black bag for my emergency go-bag. It contains of the following:
First Aid Kit Supplies
Hygiene Supplies
Non-perishable Food
Bottle of Water
Flashlight
Whistle
Photocopy of My ID
1ST QUARTER REFLECTION IN SCIENCE
We truly enjoy our Science sessions with Ma'am Quinto, for she properly and eagerly teaches the lessons to us and makes sure that we learn something new. In this quarter, we learned about the ff.: Tectonic Plates, Earthquakes, Intensity and Magnitude, Earth's Atmosphere, Greenhouse Gases and Global Warming, Atmospheric Phenomena, and Movements of the Earth. These Earth Science lessons help us to learn more about our dear planet and give the Earth our care.
Tectonic Plates and Earthquakes (Intensity and Magnitude) give me an idea of what happens beneath the Earth's crust and what phenomena would happen. These lessons will help me to prevent certain earthquakes and guide me to be ready and alert. The Earth's Atmosphere is truly amazing, and it shows the beauty of Earth on the outside. Greenhouse Gases have both positive and negative effects. They trap heat and prevent it from leaving the atmosphere, and too much greenhouse gases result in global warming. We must be careful when using greenhouse gases to prevent high temperature and severe climate change and global warming. The Atmospheric Phenomena help us to be aware of our surroundings and become prepared and alert for certain calamities. The Movements of the Earth is the most interesting topic for me, because I like learning about space and the Earths rotation and revolution.
My score for this activity is 25/25. I am proud of myself for achieving this, and based on my score, I truly understood the concept of the lesson, which is all about computing for Speed and Velocity using the G.R.E.S.A Method.
My score for this activity is4/5. It was all about the points of a Distance-time Graph. I will try harder to get a perfect score.
I got a perfect score, which is 25/25. This activity was all about Motion graphs. Thank you to myself and the Lord for making this possible!
For this activity, I got a score of 25/25. The drawings were quite hard to do, but I still pushed through and was able to succeed in this activity.
2ND QUARTER REFLECTION IN SCIENCE
As we enter the field of Science with Ma'am Quinto, everything is understandable and easy. This quarter was all about physics. These include Vector and Scalar Quantities, Force, Motion, Free Body Diagrams, Speed and Velocity, Uniform and Non-Uniform Motion Graphs, and Heat Energy and Temperature.
This quarter, we learned that physics is truly a crucial part of our life. It gave us more knowledge on how things move and react. Without force, motion, etc., we probably wont be able to move and change positions. Free Body Diagrams help in visualizing forces acting on an object, which can be of good help in future careers involving motion. Knowing the difference between distance and displacement is also significant so that we wont be confused when we're finding the origin of movement of an object. Speed and velocity also give us a view on how fast objects move and how we can manage our speed, for example, when we're driving in the future. Motion graphs, just like FBD's also help us to visualize the movement and speed of objects. And lastly, heat energy may have advantages and disadvantages. Heat and temperature help us to cook, heat rooms, and of course, they serve as our natural light; specifically from the sun. For its disadvantages, they burn surfaces, overheat, and they may lead to global warming- a crucial part of climate change. Overall, all of these lessons are important to our lives, for they reflect on the natural surroundings and how things react and move.
In these seatworks, I got pretty high scores, which I'm deeply proud of.
In this quiz, I got 29/30. This quiz was all about the History of Microscopy, and the parts of the Microscope. I was unsure of my answers at first, but I made myself proud.
We were tasked to draw the different cells of the body. I rushed my work, but Im still satisfied with the outcome.
This is my Clay Cell Model (Animal cell). For the base, I used a styroball and cut it in half. I like how this turned out, even though it's a bit messy.
3RD QUARTER REFLECTION IN SCIENCE
This quarter, we delved into the topics of Microscopy, Cells, Biological Organization, Cell Structure, Cell Division, Stages of Mitosis and Meiosis, Reproduction, and Ecology. For me, it was easy to understand these lessons, but in order to improve, I will study harder to enhance my knowledge. Our adviser, Ma'am Quinto, helped us to understand these topics with ease. Not only that, she also made us laugh many times, despite the lessons being quite difficult.
Firstly, a Microscope is an instrument that is used for observation and it magnifies tiny objects that cannot be seen in the naked eye. It's history tells a story of progress and improvement. From the first eyeglasses being invented in 1284, the early microscope was invented in the 1590s. A cell is the basic unit of life; It provides a body's structure and it is extremely significant, since it functions for all living organisms. The Cell Theory explains that (1) All organisms are made of cells. (2) Cell is the basic unit of life; and (3) Cells arise from pre-existing cells. A cell's structure can be easy to memorize; Just think of it as a factory! All of the cell's parts are important, and they have their own functions to make sure a cell is working properly. Cells divide and multiply to help organisms grow bigger, and the cell cycle has different stages that cells go through infancy until death. Mitosis takes place in somatic/body cells, while Meiosis takes place in gametes/sex cells. Reproduction is the biological process which results to an offspring. The two types are Sexual and Asexual. Sexual Rep. requires the union of gametes (sperm and egg only), while Asexual Rep. doesn't. Finally, Ecology is the study of the interaction of organisms in an ecosystem. All organisms and the environment where they interact refers to an Ecosystem. Overall, these lessons are very important, for they discover biology and the concept of how we are alive.
This is my Seatwork, wherein I got a perfect score of 5/5. Yippee!
In this long quiz, I got a score of 28/30. I'm still proud of myself for achieving a high score, despite the 2 mistakes.
In this quiz, I got 30/30, a perfect score! I thank God for helping me achieve this.
In this activity, we were tasked to illustrate the cell particles in solids, liquids, and gases, and we were also tasked to draw how they transform. I got 20/20, which I'm truly proud of!
FINAL REFLECTION IN SCIENCE
As we close the 4th Quarter, I must say that this year’s Science 7 was the most enjoyable and interesting in my perspective. Ma’am Quinto made this school year very memorable, not just as a Science Teacher, but also as an adviser. She gave us words of inspiration and wisdom, which pushed us to move forward until the last quarter.
Science is one of my favorite subjects, and Ma’am made me enjoy it even more this school year. Our lessons were understandable and I would say that my learnings and discoveries have increased in Science. We learned about the elements of science; Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Ecology. I faced some obstacles, such that I had a hard time learning about some lessons. They were quite challenging for me, but I still didn't give up. I studied harder to overcome this challenge, and in the end, I understood the lesson. I am truly proud of myself for my achievements in Science in all quarters, and I'll strive to improve more.
In a nutshell, Science was definitely more fun and memorable this school year, with the guidance of Ma'am Quinto. We thank you, Ma'am, for being the best Science teacher we could ever have!
