I am somehow proud of my scores in Math so far, since I haven't gotten any low scores or failed. This quiz wasn't very hard for me, but I had trouble answering/solving some questions because I didn't know the formulas.
Somehow, I got a lower score in my Quiz #2 than my Quiz #1. Very not demure, but atleast I didn't fail or get below 20! Still very proud of myself for this. I believe that I can still improve with following assessments.
My score in the MQE for Math is 45/50. I am happy with this score because I did not fail/get a low score. However, in the QE, I expect myself to get a score with less than 4-3 mistakes. I will study harder so that I can answer the test with ease.
1ST QUARTER REFLECTION IN MATH
With Mr. Carullo, our math classes were easy to understand. This quarter, we learned about Polygons, Percentage, Rate, and Base, Discount, Commission, Sales Tax, Speed, Interest, and Rational Numbers. These are all significant because they teach us early on how to be responsible with your money and how to compute properly.
Learning about polygons was fun for me, since it mostly had visual aids. Computing for the angles and using a protractor was a bit hard, but I still enjoyed. These will help me in the future, especially if I want to be an architect or engineer. Discount, Commission, Sales Tax, and Interest will definitely guide me when I buy something, either from a lender or from a mall, or borrow from a bank. Finding the speed was difficult for me, because I have trouble computing for the distance if the speed and time are opposite. (e.g. 40 kph, 30 mins) Though, I will try to study harder so that it wont be difficult for me anymore. Rational numbers is one of my favorite lessons this quarter, for we have learned this the past few years already.
This activity was all about Candle Costing for a wedded couple. We were tasked to find the volume of a square pyramid candle and a cylindrical candle. We also had to compute for the prices of each material and its total selling price. Thanks to Group 8, we submitted on time, with plus points for being early, and for cooperating fully.
Below are some of my notebook activities. Some are book activities, but they were written in my notebook. I am satisfied with the scores I got in these activities.
2ND QUARTER REFLECTION IN MATH
This quarter's math had a mix of easy and hard. But with the help of Sir Carullo, our lessons are manageable and understandable. This quarter's lessons were about Roots, Unit Conversion, Volume, Sets/Subsets, Set Operations, and Venn Diagrams.
Square and cube roots took some time for me to memorize, but over time, I managed to memorize it all. Converting units are important for sharing measurements. While volume is crucial for architecture, when we're building things. For instance; a fish tank. We have to know the volume of the tank so that we know how much space it will take up. Our last lesson was all about sets, and the hard part was the Venn Diagram, since I didn't understand it that much, but I will try my hardest. All of these lessons have their own crucial significance, as they are a part of certain parts of our life.
My score in this quiz is 26/30, which is not bad but I hope to get a higher score in the future. Overall, I'm still proud of myself for this score.

3RD QUARTER REFLECTION IN MATH
Looking back on this quarter, we learned about Statistics, Data Collection, Sampling Techniques, Real Numbers and their Properties, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division of Integers, PEMDAS, and Absolute Value. Personally, the lessons about statistics were quite difficult, and I couldn't understand it much, but I had a goal to catch up and be attentive.
Overall, Statistics is a branch of Math that involves collection, organization, presentation, analysis, and interpretation of data. We can connect Statistics to government, surveys, problem-solving, and more. Data Collection and Sampling Techniques are significant to express another person's insights about something, and it helps to cooperate and interact with people to get accurate results in experiments. Real Numbers are rational numbers, in which they can be divided by n and expressed in a fraction. They are helpful in creating and solving/identifying problems. The operations of Integers and PEMDAS give us tips on how to solve mathematical expressions correctly and accurately. For me, I had a hard time answering PEMDAS questions. But over time, I believe that I improved, because of these scores that I obtained.
This is my Math Project, wherein I got a score of 106/120. I had a hard time answering, since I crammed it, knowing I should've answered it earlier. However, I'm not too dissapointed, since I didn't get a failing score.
This is my review quiz, given last April 12 for our last Quarterly Exam in Math. My score is _/25.
This is our assignment all about probability and possible outcomes. However, this still remains unchecked.
In this quiz, I got 24/30. It's not bad, but I could've done way better. Nonetheless, I'm still proud since I didn't fail.
NOTEBOOK ACTIVITIES
This is our quiz for the Quarterly Exams. I got a score of 22/25. I would say that I did good, but I hope I can do better in the exam!
3RD QUARTER REFLECTION IN MATH
As this journey comes to an end, we must not forget about the learnings we have picked up on geometry, statistics, algebra, and many more. These really helped me expand my knowledge on our Mathematics subjects. Our teacher, Mr. Carullo, has guided us on our journey through formulas and equations. He also inspired us to do our best and create more opportunities for us.
I can’t help but remember the memories we made throughout the school year, from the group projects to the Math Month activities. I admit, there were obstacles along the way, such as understanding algebraic and statistical concepts. Fortunately, I have managed to overcome these challenges by reviewing and researching more on these topics. Our teacher also encouraged and motivated us to aim higher and that we can control these problems.
In summary, my journey in Mathematics has enhanced my problem-solving skills. Not only that, but I have also improved personally and in my academics. Thank you, Mr. Carullo, for everything you have taught me throughout this school year.
