WELCOME
I’m Janine Moore, M.Ed., CMHC (she/they), a psychotherapist serving adults navigating trauma, grief, chronic stress, identity development, life transitions, relationship challenges, boundary work, and generational healing. At Obsidian, I practice within an integrative mind-body-spirit framework that centers your lived experience and honors the complexity of your story. I’m intentional about creating healing spaces where all parts of you are welcomed and held with care.
PHILOSOPHY
Healing happens in relationships and culture. My work is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and identity-affirming, inviting you to listen inward, understand patterns shaped by lived and generational experience, and align choices with your values. Many people carry invisible burdens like racial trauma, chronic stress, loneliness, pain, the pressure to “hold it all together.” Therapy offers room to soften those burdens and cultivate balance, connection, and agency.
APPROACH
I use a relational, somatic, and integrative approach drawing from Internal Family Systems (parts work), EMDR, Relational-Cultural therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness, nervous-system regulation, and body-based awareness. My background in health & wellness coaching helps translate insight into sustainable habits that support vitality and functional wellness.
