At Oaks, our aim for our children is for them to be curious about the world around them. Our humanities curriculum (History, PSHE, Geography and RE) will help pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain and the wider world's past. We aim for it to inspire pupils’ curiosity about the past and present, encouraging them to seek to know more. We aim for all children to be able to speak coherently using a wide range of relevant vocabulary, to think critically, sift arguments and develop perspective. During their time with us, we want all of our children to understand the diversity of societies and the relationships between groups of people around the world.
