At Oaks Primary Academy, not only are cultures, traditions, celebrations mapped across our Programme of Inquiry where different year groups focus on these in great detail, there are also many featured on our eventsand assembly calendars to celebrate and recognise throughout the year.
In the slides, you can see a breadth of evidence from Nursery to Year 6, showing the celebrations during the year and learning about other cultures and traditions. Not only do our pupils learn about other celebrations, e.g. lunar new year, but staff ensure that the learning is engaging and immersive e.g. creating role play areas and also making food linked to the culture or religion being focused on.
