Jaron Cheung (MA, Philosophy; MTS, Ethics, Theology, & Philosophy)
Born and raised in Fremont, California and a proud Bay Area native, Jaron Cheung is Community Curator at Valley Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley, and a philosophy PhD student at the University at Buffalo. Prior to Valley Presbyterian Church and enrolling at the University at Buffalo, Jaron completed a master of theological studies at Duke University, a bachelor's in public policy and minor in philosophy at the University of California, Riverside, and received his California teaching credential from UCLA Extension. With over fifteen years of experience in education, community development, and ministry, Jaron's research seeks to bridge theory and praxis in answering the perennial questions of life on God and creation, meaning, existence, human nature, reality, and ethics. In his free time, Jaron is a competitive mixed martial artist, avid musician, loves to take his mom out on foodie dates, and is attempting to summit the high point of every U.S. state and visit every U.S. national park by the time he graduates.“Joey” Alan Le (MDiv; PhD, Theology)
