We have a New Life in Christ.

Our new life is not new in worldly terms like new possessions or life changes, but a spiritual renewal through Jesus. 

And this new life is available to anyone in Christ, because being in Christ makes a person a new creation, regardless of background or status.

• A new life in Christ is spiritually transformative, symbolized by a caterpillar turning into a butterfly.

• We must trust Jesus for internal change, not just external appearances.

• Read 2 Corinthians 4-5. In Christ, old ways die, and new life begins.

• Salvation is by grace through faith, not human effort or righteousness.

• The necessity of faith in Jesus for salvation and a new identity (see John 3, Romans 6, and John 5).

• Develop new passions: love for God, love for others, and zeal to serve and share the Gospel.

• The purpose of the Christian is to live for Christ's glory, recognizing that Jesus' love compels us to live not for ourselves but for Him.

• The importance of seeing everyone as made in God's image regardless of social differences.

• The ultimate goal of life is to live for Christ. As Paul says, "To live is Christ and to die is gain."
