Hello! Welcome to the 7-day coding course designed for graduate students with limited or no prior programming experience. Throughout this course, students will acquire essential programming concepts, including variables, constants, data types, control flow, and functions. Swift will serve as the main programming language in this course.

Consistently writing code for seven consecutive days will help learners identify programming syntax.
Learners will be able to apply the knowledge obtained from this course in their advanced programming classes or research projects.
After finishing the course, learners will be able to create applications on their own using the skills they learned.
Target Audience
Target Audience
The course has been specifically designed to cater to graduate students and those pursuing their Ph.D. who possess limited or no programming knowledge. By taking this course, they will acquire the essential skills required to enroll in advanced coding classes and also gain the ability to read and write basic programming scripts.

I appreciated that each new piece of information was followed by a knowledge check. For something as complex as coding, it helped to have quick ways to check that I was following the information. I also appreciated the use of hotspots to explain different pieces of code. One suggestion I have is to make sure the hotspots on images aren't covering too much (for example - on the page for arrays, the hotspots are covering some of the code so it's harder to see what the hotspot is referring to) If you built this out further for any reason, one thing that I'd love to see is a review of coding punctuation - like why brackets for some things but parentheses for others.

I think this is a good course, this course adopts an interactive learning mode and uses different presentation methods to make students more interested in learning the course content. Practice questions and test questions in the course can effectively help students consolidate what they have learned. I especially like the 7-day course structure design, each day has different tasks so that students can make progress every day. But programming is a highly technical topic, and it is still very difficult for students to understand the logic behind it.

I think your interface is visually appealing, which creates a stimulating learning environment for learners. I have studied coding before and based on my previous experience, I found coding very difficult and boring. But after taking your course, I am impressed by the numerous interactive elements you have integrated into the course. These components effectively make the learning process more engaging and enjoyable. It is also necessary to have a quiz under each part to keep the learners on track! Your text and image tutorials with clickable buttons provide clear guidance on accessing the software and introduce each function. One thing that I suggest is that maybe you can add a small assignment at the end of your course to give learners the experience of writing their own code. I think that will be more helpful. Overall, you really did an amazing job!
