It is advisable to make an announcement, either via Brightspace or in class, to encourage students to evaluate your course. You should inform your students that they will receive an email to their NYU email address, providing them with a link to the online course evaluation. They should also be forewarned that the evaluation period closes on the last day of class. You may also set aside time in class for students to complete the evaluations, but you must not be present in the room while they do so.
