Kathryn A. LeMonda is a national board certified occupational therapist, holding active licensure in California, Massachusetts, New York and Texas. Kathryn devotes her practice exclusively to the pediatric population, with over six years of clinical experience spanning educational, early intervention and outpatient settings. Currently residing in the greater Boston area, Kathryn works in private practice as part of an interdisciplinary team providing services within an intensive model of therapy (IMOT), integrating both traditional and non-traditional therapies, for a holistic approach to care. She is passionate about clinical education and mentorship, also serving as the OT Manager and clinical education coordinator at her current practice. Kathryn's work has afforded her the opportunity to travel globally, sharing knowledge and treatment with families from around the world.
Kathryn's passion within healthcare lies in the developmental and habilitation processes, as she aims to empower families in supporting children to reach their fullest functional potential. Kathryn specializes in working with neuromotor populations including children with sensory processing disorders, feeding/eating difficulties, and motoric impairments. Her current clinical interests include concentration in pediatric practice with emphasis on brain injury, hemiplegia, hand function, cortical visual impairment and primary care & prevention. Through pursuing her doctoral degree, Kathryn is interested in further exploring the bio-psycho-social mechanisms that underlie learning and influence motor control, for occupational performance and participation.
