Faculty Lounge:
There is a staff lounge in each LA NYFA building; located on the 1st Floor in the ‘Riverside’ building and on the 5th Floor in the ‘Barham’ building. Each lounge is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig Coffee Maker.
Audio Video Setup in Classrooms:
In Los Angeles, each classroom is equipped with a Roku for viewing streaming video in class or for mirroring laptop screens for presentations. The linked document shows instructions for Roku setup. These instructions can also be found by scanning a QR code near the Roku in each class.
Furniture Setup In Classrooms:
There are multiple ways to set up classrooms, but they need to be left orderly in one of these setups. Instructions can be found here.
Equipment:
If your class requires equipment, please send a request in an email to Equipment (laequipment@nyfa.edu) , at least, 24 hours in advance. Please know that all classrooms are equipped with a DVD Player and monitor.
If the TV monitor, DVD player or remote control is not in working order, you can request assistance from Operations, available in the main office, or the Facilities Manager in the building in which your class is located. The front desk staff of each building can contact the Facilities Manager for you.
Non-Equipment Facilities Requests:
These include desk, chairs, tables, props, library materials etc.

To facilitate copies being made for classes, each department has a copy machine code to print and make copies of materials. Please ask your Department Chair for your Department code.

Requesting T.A.s:
TA requests for scheduled classes are included in the class plot that is managed by your academic department. Any classes that have T.A. needs should be submitted to your department scheduler to be included in the class plot. This can be done for the entirety of your schedule all at once.
Any changes to these needs can also be submitted to your department scheduler by 3PM Wednesday, the week prior to the requested date.
Any additional T.A. requests or to provide more specific details on the T.As requested should be emailed to ny.ta@nyfa.edu by 3PM Wednesday, the week prior to requested date.

In Miami, each classroom is equipped with a mac mini or Apple desktop computer, blu ray player, T.V. monitor and connecting ports for USB-A /C & HDMI devices. All classrooms and production studio spaces come with general classroom chairs.

Parking:
The 420 Lincoln Rd building has a garage attached to it and is run by Park@420. A monthly parking plan is available (for approximately $150) and can be acquired by communicating directly with the parking Management office located on the 2nd floor of the garage.
There are also several pay the hour parking garages in the area.
Alternately street parking in Residential Zone 2 is available to everyone (including non-residents) for freeMonday thru Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm on most streets between Washington Ave & Alton Rd.
