Dietary restrictions

If your child has dietary restrictions, such as pork, gelatin, fish, then they should inform the front office and their teacher. You can also check the monthly CCSD menus, which are available at CCSD Food Services, or bring meals from home.

If your child is allergic to any food, you must obtain a note from your medical doctor. Be sure to list any allergies on the Student Medical Permission Form.

you can find middle school, and high school menus online by clicking here.

Application

Some Clark County School District students may be eligible for free or reduced price meals depending on family size and income as part of the National School Lunch/Breakfast Program which provides nutritious meals every school day for eligible students at participating elementary, middle/junior high, and high schools.

Application for meal benefits must be completed each school year, only one application is needed per household. Processing of an application takes 10 operating days. We encourage you to apply online at https://www.fns.usda.gov/documents-available-other-languages as this option is user friendly and reduces processing time. Applications are processed in the main Food Service office and benefits begin once eligibility has been determined.

Students who qualified for the program at the end of last school year maintain last year's eligibility through September 25, 2017. You must submit a 2017-2018 meal benefit application, unless you received a status notification letter (dated within the 2017-2018 school year) from the CCSD Food Service Department confirming eligibility for your child. We strongly encourage you to submit your meal benefit application as soon as possible.
