Shapes

This assignment was fun and challenging. I had to imagine what the photo would look like first because I wanted the shape to be the focal point of the photos.

This photo has two shapes, the squares and the circle that is formed because of the pattern.

For this picture I used a high aperture with a high shutter-speed, so the texture of the rock is all in focus while the low shutter-speed accentuates the shadows.

This main focus of this photo is the repetition of the stairs. The shadow adds definition to the shapes.

I used a high aperture so the circles casted by the bench can be seen through the holes.

I used a low aperture so the tree bark is the only thing in focus so the viewer is not distracted from the background. The focal point is the circle.
