Aperture

Aperture was a really fun project. I learned something that I thought was really cool, I have my own camera and I only shoot in auto mode. With this new assignment I learned how to give my images shallow depth of field or deep depth of field which. This assignment was hard during the beginning and gradually became easy. I tried to challenge my self by taking shots with my hands instead of planting it on something, those images "moved" more, but it still gave off the effect of the changing aperture. Although this project was somewhat challenging I found it really fun to take these photos.

The first photo shot with f4.5 has a shallow depth of field and when the f-stop was changed to f29 the image now has a deep depth of field.

This photo uses the barrier to create a shallow depth of field. The photo to the left was shot with f4 and the photo to the right was shot with f25. I used the lines to make sure that the image is straight.

To keep this image still I used the ledge this also helped with keeping it straight. The first image shot with f4.5 and the second is shot with f29.
