Fast Shutter Speed

This assignment was really fun to shoot. Using a fast shutter speed freezes whatever you take photos off. It makes a moving object stop. I had fun redoing the shots and finding what looked best. Now that I understand shutter-speed I can take more "once in a life time" pictures.

I used a shutter speed of 1/250 in this photo you can see the ball in midair as the shooter releases the it. The photo is also backlit so only the silhouettes of the objects can be seen.

The photo has a shutter speed of 1/500. Bradford looks like he was picked up by a random force along with the leaves around him.

This photo had the shutter-speed of 1/4000. You can see how sharp the pebbles are. The low f-stop also emphasizes the little pebbles giving it allowing your eyes to see the main focal point right away.
