Forced Perspective

This assignment required a lot of teamwork and cooperation in order to get a good photo. It took me longer than I thought I would need to get it done because it's actually kind of hard to come up with a cool idea that actually works. There were also difficulties with getting the people I used to stand still and pose correctly, but it all turned out ok in the end. Through this experience, I've learned how to communicate directions better in order to get the outcome I want.

For this picture, Amber's red sweater adds a cool pop of color to the otherwise cool-toned background. There's repetition in the netting of the bridge Amber is being "crushed" under. The bridge also has a leading line down the center, and Amber is seen as the focal point.

This image is very bright and has various shades of warm colors. The eye is guided all around the photo because the top half is very busy and shows the surroundings but the bottom half is just the texture of the ground.

Simon acts as a sort of leading line because he directs you to look up at what he's hanging from. It's an almost symmetrical image because Simon divides it in half. The concrete pillars in the background act as the rule of thirds and there is a repetition in the pattern of the metal in the bridge.
