Audience: Special Needs Teens and Young Adults (age 15+)
Cost: $10 Members; $20 Nonmembers
Spend Friday evenings with your friends at the Y! This is an opportunity for our special needs community to socialize, meet new friends, and try new activities! We will have arts, crafts, swimming, snacks, and social time.

After 22- Neurodiverse, Intellectual Disability, Mental Health- Navigating Benefits and Life:
Join us as we welcome benefits specialist Michele Leahy, who will be sharing information about what families need to know about Adult benefits. She will cover important topics such as SSI/SSDI, Responsibilities of representative payees, Medicaid, work incentives, and special needs trusts.

Join us on May 31 from 5PM – 7PM at the Elmwood Park Zoo for a day filled with resources, connection, and fun! Our Family Resource Fair brings together businesses and organizations dedicated to supporting the IDD/A community.
This private event offers families the opportunity to explore resources in employment, education, in-home care, legal and financial planning, waiver and non-waiver funded programs, and more. Dozens of hand-picked partner organizations will be available for one-on-one conversations, ensuring families receive valuable guidance and support.
