Drawing Club is a chance for students to get together with friends and work on drawing projects. We will start off each day by learning or reviewing a new drawing technique that can be incorporated into our projects and artistic explorations. Open to students in 2nd-4th grade.

Lego Robotics club is back! Come play around with our Lego 'Spike Essential' kits. Have fun working together, building with legos, and learning some basic coding skills. Open to students in grades 3-4.
Tuesdays, Grades 2-5
Lugh Hudson
This is a club for kids who love to read and write, or would like to hone their writing skills and creativity. The group will have the chance to choose fun activities and topics including ecology, astrology, cut out poetry, musical storytelling, and we will find fun ways to share our writing, with options including bookbinding or website design. Open to students in grades 2-5.

Nicole Walden
Busy hands and cool art. The club begins with creating diamond art pieces (a 5th grader will help us on this learning adventure). There will be other art and craft projects throughout the club, including, but not limited to: sticker by number art, paint by number, and independent art projects with paints, glitter, glue, collage, all kinds of markers, and other art projects led by students' interests. Open to students in 1st-5th grade.

Enid Segal
This is an exciting opportunity for 10 students to be exposed to beginner musical instrument lessons. Students will choose between piano or ukulele. Each student will receive a 25 minute lesson weekly for 5 weeks. Open to students in 1st-5th grade with no previous musical experience. (If your child is already familiar with an instrument and is interested in this program, please email ghollender@northampton-k12.us. If the spots do not fill up with beginners, we may open it to students with some previous experience.)

Caden Boeri
Being part of a choral ensemble offers very unique learning opportunities. During our rehearsal time, we will prepare music for various performances throughout the school year. The students will learn how to sing with proper technique and sound. Most importantly, they will work together as a team to craft a beautiful and unified choral sound, and will perform in a concert at the end of the session. Open to students in grades 3-5.

After many requests by students, we are starting up the Leeds Trash Club! Come help clean up the school yard and local trails, learn and teach others about ecology, trash systems, ways to reduce, reuse, recycle, compost, and other landfill alternatives, and make art from household trash! This club is meant to instill curiosity in nature, and how to care for our environment. Open to students in grades 2-5.

Do you have stories to tell about what's happening here at Leeds, or want to help others share their stories? Join our newspaper club to create the fifth edition of our very own school newspaper - The Leeds Leopard! Stories, interviews, investigations, the funny pages... we do it all! Open to students in grades 3-5.

Does your child like to read or make small picture books or listen to stories? In the library club we will explore topics in reading and writing. Projects and activities may include making mini-graphic novels, writing stories, pair-share reading, listening to stories or making poetry and writing short stories. Open to students in grades 2-5.

Fiber Arts club is a chance for students to work on independent knitting, crochet, embroidery, quilting, sewing, and/or other fiber arts projects. Open to students in grades 3-5, and possibly some 2nd graders, with some previous experience and/or students who are motivated to learn new techniques and work independently.

Harry Wallace
Described as one of the four noble arts by Confucius, the strategy game of Go has existed for almost 4,000 years as a pastime of those living in the ancient world. Through the centuries, Go has been seen as a distraction to the youth serving as advisors to the Shoguns of medieval Japanese time of the Sengoku Jidai. Today, Go is a wonderful board game full of strategy, philosophy, etiquette, and patience. Members will learn the strategy and rich history of the game and spend time with peers improving and practicing their game. Open to students in grades 3-5, and possibly 2nd graders with experience and/or strong interest.
