Program Handbook

All staff and students will adhere to the Northampton Code of Conduct found at http://www.northamptonschools.org/project/code-of-conduct/.

You will be charged monthly as one total sum for all Early Bird / Late Bird / Enrichment Club hours each month. Charges are posted around one week before the end of the month, and payment is expected by the last day of each calendar month. It is very helpful to get all payments in before the last day of the month, because it allows us to accurately update your account before the following month's statement is sent out. Late Payments will be charged a $5 Late Payment Fee.

Please note that Early Bird / Late Bird / Enrichment Club charges are based on all scheduled hours each month, whether or not your child attends on that day. No refunds or credits will be given if your child did not attend Early Bird / Late Bird / Enrichment Club due to last minute cancellations, absence from school, early dismissal from school or after school programs, or because school is delayed or cancelled for that day. Should you decide not to participate in the program, or to change your child's schedule, written notification is required seven (7) days in advance in order to not be charged for your scheduled days.

You may make an online payment or pay by check.  Checks must be made payable to the 'City of Northampton'. Here is a link to the directions for online payments.

Caregivers whose students are eligible for free or reduced lunch will be charged at a free or reduced rate for Early Bird / Late Bird / Enrichment Clubs.

All children must be picked up at or BEFORE 5:15pm. If you cannot pick up your child by your scheduled pick up time, please call the school so a staff member can speak to your child about the delay. If a child remains in attendance after 5:15pm, the following steps will be taken: Two staff members will remain at the program with the child. A staff member will attempt to contact the caregiver and/or other person(s) authorized to care for the child as indicated on their Emergency Card. A late fee of $1.00 for each minute that the child remains at the program after 5:15 will be charged to the caregiver. The late fee must be paid before the last day of that calendar month. You may be asked to find alternative supervision for your child(ren) if tuition or late fees are not paid, or if a late pick up happens four (4) times within a school year.
