This is a club for experimentation, creativity, and focus. We will not be attached to the final outcome, but will enjoy the creative process along the way. Open to grades 3-5.

In Board Games club, we will start with familiar and easy to learn games, like Candyland and Spot It, and work our way up to new and more challenging games. Students will be introduced to a new game each week, from collaborative games to strategy games and Chess/Checkers. This club is primarily geared toward Kindergarten and 1st grade, but we will invite a couple of 4th or 5th grade game enthusiasts that would like to join the club as helpers. Open to grades K-5.

In this edition of the Leeds Social Justice Club, we will focus on our environmental impact. Students will learn about different easy ways of lowering our Carbon Footprint and commit to sharing these tips with others in their families, neighborhoods, and school through creating artistic posters and brainstorming other strategies. Let's help our community and be the change we want to see, so we can inherit a cleaner and safer planet for us and future generations. This club is for motivated students and environmental leaders and anyone who is excited to learn, research, and help the environment. Open to grades 4-5.

Want to learn how to make eye-catching posters, newsletters, or even stickers? This club will show you how to use Canva, a free online design tool, to make all kinds of digital creations. Students can choose from a variety of templates and learn how to add/change text, insert graphics, or upload their own photo to make one-of-a-kind designs that will be printed by the end of the 10-week session. Open to grades 3-5.

Being part of a choral ensemble offers very unique learning opportunities. During our rehearsal time, we will prepare music for various performances throughout the school year. The students will learn how to sing with proper technique and sound. Most importantly, they will work together as a team to craft a beautiful and unified choral sound. Open to grades 3-5.

Come tromp through the woods and fields with Mr. Cliff! In a new iteration of our Nature Exploration club, students will choose from a number of Nature based projects, such as Tree identification, Mapping and Orienteering, Building Debris Shelters, Staying Safe in the Woods, Animal Tracking, and more. The group will be outside on most days through the winter months, exploring the school grounds and nearby trails, so students should be prepared to be outdoors in all weather. Caregivers will be invited to volunteer for one afternoon of the 10 weeks. Open to grades 2-5.

We will explore moving our bodies and learning about different cultures through music from around the world. We will play games, learn from each other, and maybe even choreograph our own dance routines! Open to grades 1-3.
