Support Structures

The support structures of NONESCOST facilitate and enable the implementation of programs and activities for students, faculty, and staff. There are 8 support structures for general use which include the gymnasium/covered court, students’ lounge, canteen, function hall, students publication, faculty lounge, guidance office, clinic, and the Student Affairs Services office.

There are 32 special support structures where students and teachers can conduct skills-related activities, workshops, training, demonstrations, and the like. These special support structures include the Forensic Chemistry and Legal Medicine Room, Forensic Photography and Fingerprint Room, and Forensic Ballistic and Fingerprint Room for the College of Criminal Justice Education as well as the Dance Room with Mini-Fitness Gym, and Industrial Arts Laboratory for the College of Education.

Worth mentioning also are the special support structures for the College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences and the College of Fisheries and the Allied Sciences which include the Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory, Milk Processing Laboratory, Fish Processing Technology Laboratory, and the Aquaculture Laboratory.

Aside from its annual budget allocation, creating linkages with the local government unit and external funding agencies, has enabled the college to maintain a Dairy Goat Research Center, the Quinalumsan Demo Farm, the Fisheries and Marine Research Station, the Brackishwater Aquaculture Technology Station, the NONESCOST Mangrove Reserve and Aquasilviculture Farm and most recently, SUNN Hotel.
