Linkages

NONESCOST continues to identify and explore areas of cooperation and linkages with foreign and local institutions. It promotes academic collaboration with local and foreign institutions through faculty exchange for advancement in instruction and research, collaborative research and extension projects, lectures, symposia, capacity-building programs as well as an exchange of academic information and materials. Some of its linkages paved the way for the establishment of infrastructure facilities for product development and training service and other extension services.

NONESCOST has established 18 local linkages which include the Commission on Higher Education, University of the Visayas-Philippine Genome Center Visayas Satellite Facility, DOST, Department of Agrarian Reform, PCIEERD/WVCIEERD, Negros Prawn Producers Cooperative Analytical & Diagnostic Laboratory, NORSU and the Local Government Unit of Sagay City.

The foreign linkages of NONESCOST include three International Research Institutions namely Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, and Silla University, Korea.
