There are a variety of ways to make new Google Docs. Below will outline the two most common methods.
METHOD ONE: Directly through the Google Docs App
Step 1: Open and new tab and Click on the nine dots in the upper right-hand corner. In the menu that appears, select "Docs."
Step 2: When the app opens, you will have the option to use a template or open a blank document.
If you click on the "Template Gallery" and you will be able to select templates provided by Noble.
Step 3: Once the documents open, all documents default to "Untitled Document." If you don't change the name of the document, your files will be harder to search through.
This is where you can add the title to the document
Is the main section where you will type.
If you add a title to the top of the document, number 2 in the image below, and click where it says "Untitled Document," number 1, the text at the top of the document will become the title of the document automatically.
METHOD TWO: Inside Google Drive
Step 1: Once inside Google Drive, click on the "+ New" button.
Step 2: In the Menu that appears, select "Google Docs."
Once you click on "Google Docs" you will have the option to select a blank document or a template.
Templates will allow you to select from general templates Google created, or templates provided by Noble Academy.
Step 3: Once the documents open, all documents default to "Untitled Document." If you don't change the name of the document, your files will be harder to search through.
