Spelling

Students will get five "tricky words" to practice at home each week.  These are words that are used frequently, but don't follow spelling patterns students have learned yet.  We will practice learning phonetic spelling patterns at school.

Semester 1 Spelling List

This is a list of your child’s spelling words for the whole semester.  Students will get a new list in January.  By the end of the semester, they should be able to write all of these words fluently, meaning they shouldn’t have to stop and think about the spelling.
