For General Education Teachers

This online training focuses on understanding the roles and responsibilities of general education teachers in supporting students with IEPs. 

*1.5 hours of PD/EILA

This session covers basic confidentiality guidelines for students with disabilities - what specific protections do our exceptional students have that we should be mindful of in our everyday interactions?  

This training is appropriate for teachers, instructional assistants, and other support staff working with students with exceptional needs across all grade levels and settings. 

*3 hours PD/EILA; CEUs pending approval by KY Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology

This workshop is designed for ALL teachers collaborating with SLPs within the classroom and throughout the IEP process.  Margo shares specific models of collaboration & standards-aligned activities to support communication needs.

*2 hours of PD/EILA

This training focuses on the understanding and resources that general education teachers need to support students in their classroom with disabilities. This learning has been divided into several “days” to give you time to process and plan for you own classroom. 

*1 hour of PD 

This training introduces the 16 Elements of Explicit Instruction and takes a deeper dive into teaching skills followed by using Retrieval Practice.  This evidence-based session is based on the work of Dr. Anita Archer and Dr. Charles Hughes to support effective and efficient teaching practices.
