100 Sight Words
This list covers the 100 most common words in the English Language. These words make up most of the sentences in the readers that students will bring home nightly. It is an end of the year expectation that a Kindergartener would be able to read each of the 100 words quickly without sounding them out.
The words tend to not follow any phonics rules and will most likely need to be memorized.
