We are happy to announce that PTA has once again provided special field trip shirts for all students this school year! These shirts will not only foster a sense of unity and school spirit, but also enhance safety during our field trips, making it easier for teachers and volunteers to keep an eye on students. Thanks to the generous support of our PTA, these shirts are provided as a gift to all Cox Cougar students.

In order for us to be able to begin instruction at 7:40, it is crucial that your student is in the building and in class.
On Monday you will see that at 7:38, in both the front and back, there will no longer be staff lining the drive. Therefore, if you arrive and there is no one to assist your student, you will need to park and escort them to the front door. It is a major safety concern for students to be unattended.
Tardies will be given if the student enters school after 7:40.
On Thursday, October 31st, your child can come to school dressed as their favorite storybook character.
We will have a parade in front of the school, beginning between approximately 8:00 - 8:15.
Students will walk in the red fire lane.
Students will walk around the loop twice.
Parents, please line the sidewalk on the loop in front of the school.
On Friday, November 8, we will be honoring our Veterans!
Veterans and their families are invited to participate in a Walk of Honor through our hallways, followed by a choir performance in the gym. Due to limited space, we are only allowing our Veterans and their families to this event.
We would also love to be decked out in our Red, White & Blue or Patriotic attire on Veteran's Day.
Please complete the google form for your Veteran who will be participating in the Walk of Honor so that we may recognize them.
If you are interested in participating in Cox Career Day on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 8:15-10:15, please complete this google form. We are excited to provide our students with the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of careers. It is never too early to start thinking about future careers!
Please note: There will not be any extras ordered.
Only those ordered, will be delivered.
