Car Riders: A-G Car riders will be picked up in the front driveway. H-Z car riders will be picked up in the back driveway. Place the sign you received with your child’s name on your rear view mirror. If you need additional copies please email your teacher.
Bus riders: Please visit the NISD transportation website if you have any questions regarding bus eligibility and route information. There is also a new mobile app that lets you track the bus to know where the bus is located. Bus riders will continue to be dropped off and picked up in the front drive of the building both morning and afternoon. Car riders will also continue to be dropped off and picked up in the car line at the back of the building.
Walkers/Bicycle Riders: Escorted walkers will meet in the music room where they will be accounted for and accompanied to the cross walk towards Highpoint Drive.
Independent walkers and bike riders will be released from school independently if you have completed the permission slip.
All transportation changes should be made by 2:00 pm each day.
To make a change you will need to submit it through this link.
Families will not be able to email ride changes.
Snack
We will have a morning snack. Please send one snack that does not require utensils or assistance to open. Dry snacks are strongly encouraged. Some examples are goldfish, pretzels, granola / protein bars, graham crackers, cheese crackers, dry cereal (ex: fruit loops, apple jacks). We suggest putting their snack in a different pocket in their backpacks.
*No peanut products.
Students may bring a refillable water bottle labeled with their name. The water container must be a closed, spill proof container. No straws.
Clear unflavored water is the only liquid that should come to school in your child’s water bottle.
