What we are learning this week:

Kindergarten Course Syllabus Link 

Phonics: We will learn our classmate's names and learn to play with names/letters 

Writing: We will learn about writing tools and making meaning with color. 

Reading: We will learn how to turn and talk and locate our rug spots. 

Science: We will practice being Beck bulldogs by following school and classroom expectations!

Math: We will practice classroom procedures!

• Practice zipping and unzipping backpacks

• Practice taking white binder out of backpack

• Practice saying their teachers name

• Practice tying shoes

• Practice writing first and last name

• Practice reading and writing letters

• Practice letter sounds

• Practice reading and writing sight words

• Practice counting 1-20

• Read with your child and ask them to retell the story
