Clinical Research Network West Midlands Commercial Research

Supporting all commercial Portfolio research within the West Midlands throughout the study life cycle.

The NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) supports patients, the public and health and care organisations across England to participate in high-quality research, thereby advancing knowledge and improving care.

The CRN West Midlands is the largest of 15 local networks across England with an economically and ethnically diverse population of around 5.9m. The Network is funded by the Department of Health and Social Care. These local Networks coordinate and support the delivery of high quality research taking place in the NHS and across the wider health and social care environment.

We help to increase opportunities for patients to take part in clinical research, ensure that studies are carried out efficiently, and support the Government’s Strategy for UK Life Sciences by improving the environment for clinical research (including commercial) in the NHS in the West Midlands. We provide researchers with the practical support they need to make clinical studies happen in the NHS, so that more research takes place across the region and more patients can take part.

Our dedicated Industry team supports all commercial Portfolio research within  the West Midlands throughout the study life cycle.  Explore our site and find out more about how we can support you.
