SPECIALIST SERVICES
As a community healthcare provider we offer regional district nursing and other forms of home-based care, and a suite of specialist nursing and therapy services for conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, pain management and Parkinson’s disease. We also have centres dedicated to child development and services for adults with learning disabilities. A full list of our services are available on our Trust website
Our R&I outreach team Community Connexions is also available to support companies engage with community groups
SPECIALIST FACILITIES
Specialist facilities include the Birmingham Dental Hospital and the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre that offers services such as amputee rehabilitation and functional electrical stimulation (FES)
Our two community hospitals are West Heath Hospital and Moseley Hall Hospital which have geriatric wards and specialist dementia friendly units. We also have a range of intermediate care units as step-down centres to support patients as they transition from acute care into home-based or social care
SPECIALIST EQUIPMENT
The Birmingham Dental Hospital is affiliated with the University of Birmingham, the School of Dentistry and has specialist laboratories for dentistry research

We are best placed to deliver research in patient homes and through schools including clinical trials suitable for community engagement and pilot digital technology in homes and clinical settings

Sites
Our Trust provides care through over 300 sites within the region, remotely and directly in patients’ homes. Key sites include Mosely Hall Hospital, West Health Hospital, Birmingham Dental Hospital and the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre.
