Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

All GCP courses have a practical focus, with the key aim that participants know what to do to practice excellent GCP when they return to their workplace to ensure the rights, safety and well-being of patients and the quality of the research data. All NIHR CRN GCP courses are appropriate for people conducting clinical trials, non-clinical trials and other kinds of research.

You can learn more about the GCP program and book on to available course dates here.

Informed Consent

The Informed Consent workshop has been designed to enable attendees to embed the core principles of informed consent into their practice. The materials, developed by a group of Lead Nurses throughout the Clinical Research Network (CRN) aim to provide a foundation upon which to build competence in the informed consent process in a research setting.

Locally delivered workshops take the form of a combination of presentations, discussions and group activities designed to bring the principles of informed consent into the workplace. To book a place on this course please visit NIHR learn.
