Agile Research Delivery Team
The Agile Research Delivery Team (ARDT) is comprised of healthcare professionals from a variety of disciplines - registered nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, clinical trials assistants etc. The team helps to support research activity across the South Central RRDN area. The support offered by the team is varied and can be tailored to study/site requirements.
The team can support interventional and non-interventional studies, including vaccines and drug studies. We have experience with running labs and sample testing, clinical skills including phlebotomy and set-up and close-down of studies. The team can support in traditional hospital and GP settings, as well as non-traditional research settings for example care homes, home care, hospices, schools and dental academies. The ARDT also has experience utilising research buses for study visits and research engagement activities. More information regarding the buses can be found here.
The ARDT can provide training and support to primary care sites new to research. The team also offers virtual drop in sessions and face to face forums for primary care research teams which provide opportunities for networking and sharing relevant updates and training. Please refer to Events page for further details.
The team is led by Senior Nurse Manager Kirsty Gladas, with support from Senior Research Nurses Deborah Dellafera and Chantelle Moorbey.
