Virtual Evaluation Training Overview
This training will focus on preparing school leaders to implement teacher evaluations in their schools utilizing the NIET Teaching and Learning Standards Rubric.

SESSION 1: Sept. 18
With support from trainers and peers, move from a beginning-level knowledge of the NIET Teaching and Learning Standards to a deep-level understanding of what evidence looks and sounds like for each indicator at each descriptor.

9:30 -11:00 a.m. Module 2 - Rubric Introduction and Evidence Capture Deep Dive
12:00-1:30 p.m. Module 3 - Evidence Capture Deep Dive (continued)
2:00-3:30 p.m. Module 4 - Indicators Evidence: Looks Like/Sounds Like
SESSION 2: Sept. 19
With support from trainers and peers, apply deep-level understanding of the NIET Teaching and Learning Standards to the announced evaluation POP cycle: pre-conference, categorization of evidence, calibration of evidence, and post-conference

Independently apply learning from Sessions 1 and 2 to the unannounced evaluation POP cycle: categorization of evidence, calibration of evidence, and post-conference
