How do I get into my account if my phone breaks and I can't get to my Google authenticator codes?

  • It is a good idea to have more then one method ready on your NICC account (login.nicc.edu) that way you can select a different one if something happens to your phone or Google Authenticator app.

    • For instance, having the Google Authenticator, email, and text (SMS) filled in and getting a backup set of OTPs printed would allow you to get into your account if one of them isn't accessible to you anymore (i.e. phone breaks)

  • If the other methods are not setup to use or you have any issues, please contact the Helpdesk at 844-642-2338, ext 555.
