Dealing with SOUND ISSUES

1. Screencastify

Did you ever want to record your screen, but want sound in a video to record too, so students can hear the audio?

Click on the Screencastify Extension. Go to Show more Options. Click on "Enable System Audio". Now, sound on your computer is allowed to be heard.

For example, take a look at this video. It was recorded on screencastify, with all of the necessary settings enabled, and you can hear the sound on the brain pop video.

2. Google Meet

In order to hear a textbook, video, computer audio in Google Meet, click present screen. After that choose a Chrome Tab. Make sure to check the "share audio" button. Then click on the video, link...etc. you want to open and for kids to see/hear audio.

In the video you may hear a crackling noise. Turn your mute button on, so only the video audio can be heard.

iPad Split Screen

**This could be helpful, in class, if you wanted students to be able to take notes and see their research at the same time.

**It could also be helpful, if we were virtual, and you wanted students to be able to see something in Seesaw, as well as see you in the Zoom session.

EDITABLE PDF's

Use Google Slides and Kami in order to convert your documents to PDF's and students are then able to make changes or show their learning right on the document.
