Did you know that Seesaw will automatically translate to different languages?
If a note, caption, comment, announcement or message is written in a language that is different from the language of a family's or teacher’s device, a “See Translation” option appears below the post. Tap “See Translation” and Seesaw automatically translates any text into your native language.
Here is a link that takes you to specific grade level "Getting Started" guides. These have everything you need in order to introduce Seesaw in your classroom to your students.
A quick visual reference as to some of the tools in the drawing option.
This link will take you to a video as well as step by step instructions in order to create a class in Seesaw.
Seesaw Snapshots are quick and easy poster directions on how to do tasks and different activities in Seesaw. These could be printed off and hung around your classroom for students' reference.
Seesaw Training Stations
Seesaw Training Stations allow teachers and students to explore the basics of Seesaw.
Here is a conferring and fluency example Mr. Jadin does with his 4th graders during Reading workshop. This is such a powerful way to track student goals and progress, that I wanted to share it out!
I love how the student talks about the book and the reasons she chose it. She also makes connections and summarizes the book so far. After that, Mr. Jadin has the student read a page out loud while doing a running record. The mistakes are highlighted and then discussed with the student. At the end, a goal is set for the student to work on.

ALERT! ALERT! NEW FEATURE ALERT!
Introducing Frames: smart shapes that make it easier for students to show what they know. Teachers add frames to an activity template. Students touch the frame, the tool opens automatically, and their creation fits the space.
This new feature is a BETA version---which means it is still in testing.
