Tech Tool Tuesdays

PODCASTING

I wanted to give you a heads up about a new tool that could be used for capturing digital/audible thinking using the idea of PODCASTING with your students.

GO TO: https://anchor.fm/

It would be super simple for students to use, as the anchor platform walks students through every step/process.

I watched this 7 minute tutorial on how to do it.

https://youtu.be/-FF2-bk9ZxU

I also made a quick example, just to try it myself-and to see how students would be able to send the finished podcast to you, as the teacher.

THEY CAN JUST COPY AND PASTE THE LINK INTO AN EMAIL/GOOGLE CLASSROOM/SEESAW. :) Yay!

https://anchor.fm/esstudent/episodes/Example-ep9bdf

Students would go to anchor.fm and then click sign up. It is a free platform, and for education/just dabbling in types of projects, I think this is a good start.

If you aren't already ...here's an old tool to try that can help in the areas of TIME-MANAGEMENT, ORGANIZATION, and SCHEDULING

GO TO: calendar.google.com

Google Calendar is web based, calendar service developed by Google. It can be used to create, edit, and invite people to events both in person and virtually.
