Plumbing and Pipefitting
ABOUT:
The Plumbing and Pipefitting Lab is the first of its kind in the Commonwealth.
The lab features updated classroom space and includes three mock lab stations that will enable students to train and earn certifications in residential/commercial plumbing and marine pipefitting.
Up to forty students, each year will have the opportunity to participate in this program
The program will be piloting the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)
Plumbing/Pipefitting curriculum that allows students to complete coursework that can be applied to future apprenticeship training programs.
Students will gain valuable hands-on and real-world experience to be ready to compete for commercial, marine and residential plumbing/pipefitting careers
Plumbing and Pipefitting is a 1-year program.
