ABOUT:

  • Prepares for employment as entry level carpenter or construction worker.

  • Prepares students to pursue post-secondary education in multiple construction fields such as construction management, design and mechanical fields.

  • Employment opportunities strong with 5% to 8% growth with average salary of $42,000 in Hampton Roads

  • Two Year Program. Student's study Construction I & II in their first year and can elect to return for Construction III during a second year.

PREREQUISITES:

Algebra 1 with a grade of “C” or better

English 10 with a grade of “C” or better
