ABOUT:
Teaches skills to install, maintain and repair residential and commercial wiring, equipment and fixtures, and use of the National Electrical Code Book.
Study of alternative renewable energy sources includes installing hydrogen fuel cells, solar panels and communication cable and wiring.
Employment opportunities strong with average salary of $41.5k to 53.8K (depending on location and cost of living)

BIO: I began my career 10 years ago, successfully completing the four year NCCER apprenticeship at New Horizons Regional Education Centers. After now, as a Master Electrician, I have been rapidly began climbing the career ladder into the Project Management side of the Electrical trade. Now, I have come back full circle as the Electrical teacher for the Center for Adult Apprenticeship & Training. I also commit my days to New Horizons as the Electrical and Renewable Energy teacher for their Career and Technical Education program, where I get to prepare high school students to be workforce ready!
