Recent Events

As part of Global Goals week, the Climbathon 2022 was enjoyed by all learners starting from 3 locations around school. In connection with SDG 11: Sustainable cities and communities, the learners walked the routes to raise awareness and support for the charity Pipal Tree. Their continued efforts to improve the education and well being of women and children in rural Nepal, will benefit from the support of the Nexus community. As well as education, Pipal Tree also runs a reforestation project, aiming to generate employment and sustainable tourism in the region. Working with local experts, and providing opportunities to all, the projects aim to enable the communities to become sustainable in their growth and development.

All learners counted their laps and challenged themselves to complete as many as possible in the given time. Learners who are able to collect sponsorship money for their efforts will be able to bring the money in by Friday 23rd September as a donation.
