As we are now closed on Friday, 1 September for Polling Day, we will be moving our Bug Busting day to Friday, 22 September.

On Bug Busting day we ask everyone to take the time to check their family’s hair and treat for head lice if necessary.

Most children and families experience head lice at some point, it’s nothing to be ashamed of and is easier to treat if caught early.

If we see a child itching or if they report to us that they have an itchy head, we will ask the school nurse to check their hair. If live head lice are found, we will ask you to collect your child to treat the lice. 

If this happens to you please ensure your child is treated and free from live head lice before returning to school.
