Thank you for your collaboration and support as we have introduced new pick-up arrangements for our Year 3 and Year 4 learners.
If you are picking up or dropping off with Year 1 or Year 2 please wait at the gate near the Treehouse. The gate is shut and locked at 08:20, if you arrive after this time - please take your child/children to Learner Services and we will ensure they get to their class.
Please do not lift your child over the gate if it is closed, there is no supervision in this circumstance and we cannot guarantee their safety.
If you are picking up or dropping your child/children at any time of day other than the usual times, please always go to Learner Services.
From Monday, 28 August, the turnstiles at the school entrances will require learners to present their Learners ID cards for access.
Assistance will be available at Turnstile 4 (The larger turnstile on Level 3) for younger learners and parents.
Please ensure your child carries their ID card at school daily as this assist them for both school entry and canteen purchases. We will be publishing a new section in the Parents Zone on our website that will outline helpful guidelines on topping up the ID Card which is an EZ Link, including enabling helpful functions such as the option for auto top-up.
Learning conferences will be held in school on Thursday 5th October 4pm-8pm and Friday 6th October 8am - 4pm. You will be invited to make appointments nearer the time.
Please note school will be closed with no lessons on Friday 6th to allow teachers to meet with families.
Secondary learners should accompany their parents/guardians to all meetings and families should leave a gap between each appointment to allow movement between the learning spaces.
For Parents and Caregivers who have taken their photos during the orientation and for those who have submitted their photos through the online form may now collect their passes at the reception.

Please be aware that as we support our Primary learners to make healthy food choice Y3-6 learners will only be able to buy healthy snacks, and water or milk as their drink at snack and lunchtimes. The exception to this is treat Friday (Friday snack), when the full range of food and drinks are available for them to choose from.

We understand that occasionally a change of pickup arrangements for your child/children will need to be made. We respectfully request that you advise us by 12:00 midday at the latest, of any changes as per the parent handbook...
If you wish to make a change to the pick up arrangements for your child you must inform homeroom teachers and Learner Services (learnerservices@nexus.edu.sg) and if applicable, the bus company. We respectfully request that you inform us of any last minute changes by noon so that the information can be passed on to the relevant teachers.
After this time it can become extremely difficult to ensure all relevant parties are aware. Thank you for your understanding.
As a school, we are aiming to ensure that all parent volunteers must be safeguarding-informed to volunteer in this school by the 2024-25 school year.
As we make this transition this year, we will be conducting a parent volunteer workshop on 6 September at 8:30am where parents will be trained.
If you are unable to make it for this session, there will be a few more sessions as the year goes on.
We want to ensure the safety of all our learners and we thank you for your dedication and commitment as well.
If you would like to attend this session, please RSVP in the link here.
