CTE Program Discontinuation
Fall 2026:
The CTE program will be discontinued by the Fall 2026 semester. We acknowledge the challenge that this change may bring upon our community. Know that the CELS office is here to support you however we can. Do not hesitate to contact us at elsc@newschool.edu or (212) 229-5372.
Please complete the Request for CTE Certificate Form in your last semester of the program.
The Center for English Language Studies will continue to maintain the CTE Resource Site and biweekly TESOL newsletter after the program has been discontinued.

Please complete the Request for CTE Certificate Form in your last semester of the program. If you have completed the certificate, but never submitted this form, you can do so now.
Certificates are awarded three times a year, about a month after the end of each semester (September, January, June)
You must submit the form by middle of semester in order to be included in that semester's conferral batch.
