Ensures Equitable Digital Access Provides and advocates for equitable access to collection tools using digital resources, programming, and services in support of the school district’s strategic vision.
Book catalog computers and forced links on students' devices for easy access to library resources. .
Provide Chromebook checkout to students who forget their device or need to charge.
Utilize Charles and Joann Lester Library to acquire resources not available in our collection, with a library card issued to each building.
Offer mobile hotspots to students and staff when needed (e.g., moving, internet service interruptions at home, long bus rides for sports, etc.).
Provide devices and technical assistance for virtual students.
Maintain a makerspace at the high school available for all students to utilize.
Improve advertising of resources to staff, students, and parents.
Consider offering public opportunities for parents to learn more about technology that can keep them informed about their students' learning.
