Robust Infrastructure 

Book catalog computers and forced links on students' devices for easy access to library resources. . 

Provide Chromebook checkout to students who forget their device or need to charge. 

Utilize Charles and Joann Lester Library to acquire resources not available in our collection, with a library card issued to each building. 

Maintain a Google Doc with digital resources usernames and passcodes accessible to students, staff, and parents for at-home access. 

Offer mobile hotspots to students and staff when needed (e.g., moving, internet service interruptions at home, long bus rides for sports, etc.). 

Provide devices and technical assistance for virtual students. 

Maintain a makerspace at the high school available for all students to utilize. 

Improve advertising of resources to staff, students, and parents. 

Consider offering public opportunities for parents to learn more about technology that can keep them informed about their students' learning. 

Run usage reports of subscriptions and promote underutilized resources. 

Advocate for policy changes to assist students who habitually check out loaner Chromebooks from the library (e.g., device loss or unpaid fines). 

Promote the makerspace to increase student awareness and usage over time.
