Health is a course required for high school graduation. It includes the study of the human body and the functions of the systems. Also covered are drug abuse, first aid, CPR certification, diseases, pollution and its effects, nutrition, exercise, health agencies and sex education.

Students do not have to take this course at the middle school level. It is strongly suggested.
